A bright and beautiful complexion is the expression of femininity, the best visiting card of our inner self. But removing your make-up in the evening and applying hydrating creams according to your skin type is not enough. Every week your complexion needs a refreshing, hydrating mask. And if you’re too lazy to go to the cosmetic shop and buy one or if you just want a natural chemicals free mask, you should just open your fridge!
Do you still have some mayonnaise from the delicious salad you had for breakfast? Apply a generous thick layer on your face for 20 minutes. Then rinse with cold water and apply a hydrating cream. The eggs contain albumin which hydrates and softens the epidermis. The only condition is to use a natural homemade mayonnaise and not one bought from the supermarket.
If you have oily complexion, you can reduce the excess of sebum by applying every week a mask based on tomatoes. Smash a tomato and apply it on your face. After 20 minutes rinse with warm water (not hot water because it irritates the skin).
You can also prepare a refreshing mask by mixing one tablespoon of olive oil with juice from ¼ lemon. What can it be easier than that? Besides, it removes your excessive sebum and it hydrates your skin at the same time.
Milk is an excellent source of calcium and magnesium, two minerals that will pamper your skin, hydrating and refreshing it. Apply some milk on you face with a cotton pad, massage gently and after 20 minutes rinse with slightly warm water.
But if you have a dry skin, Honey is the answer to your problem. And you don’t even have to mix it with other ingredients. You should simply apply a thin layer of honey on your face and neck and keep the mask until the honey dries up. Then remove the mask with very warm water (not hot!).
Tonify your skin, mix honey with a smash ripe banana. Keep the mask onto your face until it dries up. You can use this mask for your hair too, but e careful not to use too much honey.
If you like peach, why not allow your skin to taste it? Smash a peach and mix it with one teaspoon of brandy and apply the mixture onto your face for 20 minutes. Then rinse with cold water.
As you can see, there are a lot of delicious possibilities for taking care of your complexion. You only have to choose the one which can answer to your skin’s needs.
