Bread, sweets, meat, milk, eggs, cheese and even certain fruits and vegetables contain different amounts of fat. The fat we found in foods is extremely dangerous for your health due to their increased number of calories (9kcal/g) and not only. Read this article and found out which are the foods that contain lipids and endanger your health especially if you have high cholesterol.
Meat and meat products (processed meat) that have small white areas of fat: salami, sausages, chopped meat and organs such as liver and brain, chops or cutlets, bacon, ribs, gammons.

Milk and dairy products: butter, cream, cheese. Cottage cheese may contain up to 15% fat and the French cheese, feta cheese, processed cheese, soft cheese and semi-hard yellow cheese may contain between 30 and 80% fat.
Desserts and pastries, whether sweet or salted, contain around 30-80% fat.

Any kind of cooked or fried food.
Dressings and mayonnaise.
Pastas with cream or meat.
All fast-food products!
Notice! Don’t forget that each food has its own lipids so it’s not necessary to add extra fats while cooking or frying. It’s true that French fries and crispy strips of chicken are tastier than steamed chicken breast with vegetables, but this doesn’t mean it is healthy, because our stomach cannot digest the delicious crunchy crust that foods get through the frying process.
What you can eat daily:
– 150-300 g of skimmed low-fat meat (chicken, fish, turkey)
– 500g per day Low-fat milk and dairy products with maximum 1,5% fat Low-fat cheese
– 2 boiled eggs per week
– 10g of butter or 1 tablespoon of sour cream added on meat and vegetables;
– 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil, instead of dressings in salads
– Raw oil-seed fruits (nuts, peanuts) – 10-20 pieces.
How to avoid fats in your diet:
Don’t fry the foods. Instead, grill, boil or steam them. In every kitchen should be at least one anti-adherent pot. When you cook the foods in the oven, substitute the oil with water, wine, tomato juice, aromatic herbs and condiments.
Don’t add oil to your soup, it will still be tasty. If your soup has sparkling spots of fat on the surface, put the soup in the fridge for several hours and then remove the fat.
Add oil in your salad using the spoon, not the bottle!
Skim the meat before cooking it, including the fish, and never eat chicken wings.
Don’t ever eat the gravy sauce.
